Foley & Sound FX For Film, TV & Video

The video below showcases some of my work editing a band's music video.

This included Foley sound, sound FX, soundtrack design and recutting the entire video as the video had been originally shot for a different song with a slower tempo.

You can see the entire video over on my Sound Portfolio page. (I also produced the music for the band).

Recordings were made including interior sound from inside a Skoda estate car on the M56 motorway near Manchester airport, England. Other sounds included driving the same car into a parking space (at the same speed and duration as is shown in the video) recording keys being put into a garden patio door, birdsong in a garden and dropping a holdall bag onto a bed. All perfectly synced to the action on screen. This work requires a careful eye and ear for detail.

Campaign Video

The video below was a commission for Hon. Dr Mamadou Tangara, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Gambia in his election bid to become Secretary General of the Commonwealth.

The work required editing video, audio and photographic source material to turn it into a compelling narrative that matched the voice-over, alongside title design, audio restoration and clean-up.

This was an very interesting project to work on.
